Privacy Policy
This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. This service asks for very little, and the reason for each item is given below.
In short
- We collect your name, date of birth and mobile number. No email address, no postal address, and no identity document.
- We never see your card, UPI, or banking details; Razorpay handles the payment end to end.
- Your report is never stored; it is recalculated from your details each time you open it.
What we collect
Your name, as you write it in the Latin alphabet. Your date of birth (day, month and year only). The answers you choose in the questions at the start: which area of life concerns you most, and then what specifically is troubling you, how it feels, how long it has been going on, what it has cost you and what you would want first. And your mobile number, which is asked at the last step so that we can reach you if there is a problem with your order.
Those answers are the options you tapped, not anything you typed. Each question offers four, and we store which one you picked. They decide which remedies and guidance your report prints. They are removed entirely if you ask us to delete your information, and they are never sent to any advertising platform.
That is all. This site does not ask for your email address, your postal address, or any identity document. It does not ask for your time of birth either, because the calculation does not use it. Your mobile number is not used for calls, and it is never sold or passed to anyone for their own marketing.
Like any website, we also record your IP address and browser details when you use the site, and the approximate location (city and state) that your IP address indicates. These are kept for the measurement described below and for our own reporting, and they are removed along with everything else if you ask us to delete your information (the state and country alone are kept as anonymous statistics, since they identify nobody).
We never receive your payment details
Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card number, UPI ID, banking credentials and OTP never pass through this site or our servers, and we never see them.
When a payment succeeds, Razorpay tells us only that it succeeded, its payment identifier, and the buyer's contact details, so that we can unlock the report and contact you if it becomes necessary. Razorpay's own privacy policy is available on their website.
We do not store your report
This is unusual enough to state plainly: the report we generate for you is not saved anywhere. Each time you open your link, it is recalculated from your name and date of birth at that moment.
This means that what we hold is only the information you entered, never the result of the calculation. It is also why the same name and the same date of birth always produce the same report.
Where your information is held
Data is stored with Supabase, on servers located in Mumbai, India. Access is restricted to us; row-level security is enabled on the database and public access is disabled.
When you start a payment, a small file (a cookie) holding the link to your report is kept in your own browser for 7 days, so that if the payment screen closes the site before you reach your report, opening the site again on the same phone takes you straight to it. It cannot be read by the page itself, it is never sent to anyone else, and it expires on its own after 7 days.
Advertising and measurement
This site advertises on Facebook and Instagram, and it uses Meta's measurement tools to understand how that advertising performs, specifically how many people who saw an advertisement went on to purchase. For this, a small file (a cookie) is placed in your browser holding a randomly generated identifier and, if you arrived from an advertisement, the identifier of that click. Part of this measurement is sent from your browser and part is sent from our own server.
Your name, your date of birth and none of your answers to the questions at the start are ever sent to Meta. What is sent is that a visit, a completed calculation, a checkout or a purchase happened, the amount paid and, so that one person can be told apart from another, your IP address, your browser details, the city and country your IP address indicates, and a randomly generated identifier of our own. Your mobile number is also sent, and so are the email address and phone number you give Razorpay when you buy: all of these travel in an encrypted, one-way form (a hash) that Meta can only use to check whether it already knows that person, and from which the original cannot be read back. Anything you buy afterwards from inside your report is not reported to Meta at all.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. Because part of this measurement is sent from our server rather than from your browser, tracking-protection or ad-blocking settings will reduce what reaches Meta but will not stop all of it. The site works exactly the same either way, and if you would like your information removed from our records altogether, the section below tells you how.
Deleting your information
If you would like your details removed from our records, write to hello@naamdosh.in. We delete your name, date of birth, mobile number, IP address, browser details, city and advertising identifiers within 7 working days.
Please note that once deleted, your existing report link will stop working, because the report is regenerated from that information every time. Records of the payment itself must be retained for the period required by accounting and tax law.
Children
This service is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
